How we process your personal data.

What data we process and why

  • Contact: if you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, or call us, we process your name, phone number or email and the content of your enquiry in order to reply and manage your appointment.
  • Bookings and gift cards: these are made on Fresha, an external platform. The data you enter there is processed according to the Fresha privacy policy and is shared with Amon Spa to provide the booked service.
  • Health: if you tell us about a medical condition, pregnancy, injury or allergy so that we can adapt the treatment, we process that data only for that purpose and with your consent, which you give by telling us. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Browsing: with your consent, we use analytics and advertising cookies to measure the use of the website and improve our campaigns. See the cookie policy.

This website has no forms of its own and no user registration. We do not build profiles or make automated decisions with legal effects about you.

Legal basis

  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures: handling enquiries, bookings and gift cards.
  • Consent: health data you tell us about, and analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw it at any time without affecting what has already been done.
  • Legitimate interest: answering general enquiries and keeping the website secure.
  • Legal obligation: keeping accounting and tax records.

How long we keep the data

  • Enquiries by WhatsApp, email or phone: up to 12 months from the last contact, unless they lead to a booking.
  • Bookings, gift cards and invoicing: for as long as the relationship lasts and, after that, blocked for the legal periods under commercial, tax and consumer law (generally up to 6 years for accounting records).
  • Health data: only for the time needed to provide the service; it is then deleted unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Cookies: your choice is stored for 12 months. Analytics and advertising cookies last as long as detailed in the cookie policy.

Recipients and international transfers

We do not share data with third parties except where legally required. We use providers that act as data processors or as independent controllers: Fresha (bookings), Meta (WhatsApp), Google (analytics, advertising, maps and YouTube videos), Microsoft (Clarity) and our web hosting provider. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to amonspaweb@gmail.com and saying which right you are exercising. We may ask you for a document proving your identity. If you believe we have not properly handled your request, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
